some sort of a "Bird watching"

"Row, row, row your boat"

-my pagnapagna-

Binmaley is one of the Municipalities in Pangasinan where aquaculture is a vital source of their livelihood. Various river systems supply water to their fishponds which are famous for their bangus (milkfish). Their rivers are wide and teeming with fishes, crabs, shrimps and other marine animals which are a natural foods of wild birds.
I've seen various wild birds in the area but what interests me are the wild ducks (I'm no expert on these) (sorry, i did not get photos of it). They are very elusive to humans that you can only observe them at a certain distance. At times, you can see them at the center of a wide fishponds floating freely in groups and on rivers near the Nipa palm plants.

Some of the wild birds/fowls in the area in their local name:
"Sickling"
"Palekpek"
"Dulakap"

I went to visit the fishpond area and the river at Barangay Lomboy Calay in that town of Binmaley, Pangasinan last friday (December 13, 2013) and rode a "banca" or a boat made out of wood.

Here are some of the Photographs
and a video:
